OK! Here are some pictures! They're totally out of order. So let's start from the bottom one. This was when we were beginning our evening. We'd gotten off the train and walked out to a beautiful platform with a great view of the tower. Ryan was taking pictures with his tripod. He took this one (on the bottom).
Then he said "Let's walk down to the tower." We turned off to the side to go down a nice secluded path towards the tower. We stopped for a moment to enjoy the view of the city. Ryan looked at me and asked "Do you love me?" I answered that I love him with my whole heart. He kissed me, and then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!
The second picture from the bottom is about 5 minutes after this moment.
The final night/Eiffel Tower picture is about an hour later. We had climbed the stairs to the second floor in the rain, and then went to walk through this park. Ryan/we love to take "timed exposure" shots. The lens was open for 20 seconds in this and we were in the picture for half the time before jumping out, creating the "ghost" effect.
The other pictures are the next day. The top one is at L'Arc de Triomphe. The other is in front of the Sacre-Coeur.
Still waiting for the pictures...
