A short story

I am sitting in a small cafe right now waiting for the autoglass shop down the street to replace my front windshield. The shop is owned by an Indian man, who after telling me it would take an hour and a half to fix said, while looking at my kissing rock-em-sock-em robots shirt and my bright green sneakers, "I see you are modern. There are two coffee shops that are nice for waiting. The closer one is the modern one. I think you would like that best."

I smiled and thanked him and am now posting from the "modern" coffee shop.

Also, totally unrelated, Scott now has his own flickr page. Check it out.

  1. I LOVE it...That's always been one of my favorite shirts. What a nice shop owner, trying to find a waiting place to fit your needs :)

Also, Scott, I had no idea you were into photography! Those pictures are incredible! Cameron and I oohed and ahhed over them last night. Very cool.
