A few more....!

Here are a few more. The bottom two just prove what good lookin' folks we are! The middle one is my confusion at the Pompidou. I loved it there (it's a modern art museum in Paris), but I didn't understand why that navy blue canvas deserved a spot at a famous museum. And if it does deserve a spot, I have a few stick figures I'd like to submit.
The top two are Ryan and I in "Museumplein" (museum square) in Amsterdam. There is an Amsterdam campaign called "I Amsterdam" in the city. There are big letters spelling that and this is us by them.

Ok, some pictures!

OK! Here are some pictures! They're totally out of order. So let's start from the bottom one. This was when we were beginning our evening. We'd gotten off the train and walked out to a beautiful platform with a great view of the tower. Ryan was taking pictures with his tripod. He took this one (on the bottom).
Then he said "Let's walk down to the tower." We turned off to the side to go down a nice secluded path towards the tower. We stopped for a moment to enjoy the view of the city. Ryan looked at me and asked "Do you love me?" I answered that I love him with my whole heart. He kissed me, and then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!
The second picture from the bottom is about 5 minutes after this moment.
The final night/Eiffel Tower picture is about an hour later. We had climbed the stairs to the second floor in the rain, and then went to walk through this park. Ryan/we love to take "timed exposure" shots. The lens was open for 20 seconds in this and we were in the picture for half the time before jumping out, creating the "ghost" effect.
The other pictures are the next day. The top one is at L'Arc de Triomphe. The other is in front of the Sacre-Coeur.

Engagement is fun!

We're engaged! Yay! I love Ryan with every ounce of my being and I am so happy to be spending the rest of my life with him. Siblings, I know you will recall Dad saying that we all needed to find someone who loved us each as much as he loved our mother. I know that I have found him and that I can return that love. We are excited to celebrate the wonderful relationship and life we have built together and to bring on the next chapter in our lives.

Conversations with Kitty

Not as cute as conversations with Nora, but she's almost as talkative :)
