Mom's new toy. Mahana may have been a "12 cow wife" but Mom is a 1 Honda CRV (with heated seats and sunroof) wife. And, for anyone who knows me, you know that a purchasing a new car (our first ever in 37 years) shows Mom is worth far more than any dang 12 cows.
I have chosen a new occupation (to help pay for the new car (- ; . After communing with the "supervisor bee" (see photo) the "girls" got to work. The pic shows about 6-7 gallons of honey I extracted yesterday. It is heavy! I will extract again in September and hopefully get a few more gallons. Just sayin'--any of our children who visit get a free bottle of honey. And any grandchild who visits gets their own free bottle of honey. It is good stuff. Gotta come up with a name if I sell it. Beautiful Susan's BEEautiful Honey is too long--Any suggestions???
What a beeutiful new vehicle. Perhaps you can use the honey for your next oil change. Its great for those new engines.
